I know that some members of the board are in contact with Mr. Scott, so I am posting this. To make a long story short, I was playing a Scott 65mm barrel and needed a longer one, so I bought a 66 mm one. Not only did the 66 play just like the 65--only longer--the mouthpiece and tenon connections were exactly the same. Please thank Mr. Scott for being so very consistent and having such a, nowadays, rare commitment to quality and craftsmanship. I have his barrels for Eb and Bb, and my only regret is that I don't need them for the bass, my saxes, or flute.
