In no particular order. . .

1. Opening solo (and various excerpts) in Rhapsody in Blue
2. Cuban Overture solo
3. Opening line and excerpts from "Times Square 1944" in On the Town
4. Walking the Dog, from "Shall We Dance"
5. Many Scheherazade excerpts
6. A neat, short solo entitled "Clarinettologia"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dukRf1ve05E (Allesandro does a reduction)

Symphony #9, Movement 3-Shostakovich

And for more lyrical passages:

Overture to the School for Scandal-Barber
Symphony #1, Movement 1-Mahler
Symphony #6, Movement 1-Beethoven

Lots more of course, but those are the ones I thought of just now.

"Cool?" Technically difficult? Cool to play? Cool for people to hear? Something else?

Lick? A couple of measures of music?

Of course there are dozens. I'll give you one: the clarinet solo from Capriccio Espagnol.

It's difficult, but fun to play (once mastered), and fun to listen to. The clarinetist can channel adrenaline to play this as the orchestra opens for him/her.

Cool for people to hear. I'm mainly looking for something fun to play when I'm bored.

Get a copy of the Charlie Parker Omnibook in Bb — the transcriptions often run too low for a tenor sax but can be covered by a clarinet. Lots of fun, goodbye boredom.
