What's up Bob......................you looking for additional roomies?
I hope to see you in the Crescent City but it's too early to tell. I still need to convince my wife that we should "board" ole Lucky. Poor fella is almost 15 so he doesn't do real well without us around. My latest suggestion is that we take him with us (we will probably drive from Dallas) and "board" him there. That way we can visit him every day. Ain't I smart? I keep on planning.

I've made my hotel reservation, but I'm still trying to see if I can get those days off from work. I'd like to bring my daughter, but she has to be back at JMU on the 19th for the beginning of marching band, so I'm not sure if she will be able to come with me.
Lucky for me, my husband prefers NOT to go to N'Awlins in the humidity of August and has no interest in clarinetting (other than to acknowledge that it keeps me from bitching quite so much), so he has thoughtfully volunteered to remain at home to care for the the dogs and the other two kids.
His generosity has its limits...I'm not sure he'll let me be "roomies" with either bob or jerry!
