A bit of background...I was involved in playing through university, but have been out of the game for a while.
My husband knew I used to play AC once upon a time and brought one home for me.
However, it is a former student clarinet and is missing a neck and a mouthpiece. My only preference is to get a C* mouthpiece because if memory serves, this is what I used to play in the university band.
But where would I be able to find a replacement neck? Or other suggestions for mouthpieces as well.
Thanks folks for any thoughts and advice.

If you search EBay for clarinet parts you'll find several suppliers who may be able to help. If your instrument is not current, specify "used". Try googling "clarinet parts" and you'll find quite a few suppliers. Find out who services clarinets for your local school and try them. They may be able to point you in the right direction. Any mouthpiece supplier should be able to help with a C* (Selmer?), I think they're still available new.

I have a Vito Alto clarinet, without a neck. My friend- who studied/apprenticed instrument making in Germany before working in UK/Ireland/NZ made his own neck for his Yamaha Alto, and has offered to make one for my Alto. He is a busy man, and promised to do this 18months ago... but if your Alto is a Vito (or the Yamaha- which I recall is actually identical to the Vito) I could give him some encouragement, and get him to make TWO. Not sure how much he'll charge... dn

It is important to specify what make and model of alto you have as necks are not generally interchangable between brands. Vintage can be important too since Leblanc (and probably Nolet too) used 2 quite different lengths of alto neck over the years.

Donald--it is actually a Vito. I'll have to look closer to see if I can figure out what model.
Good point Norman on the necks not being interchangeable.
I'll drop a message to the local schools and see if they have leads. I've been out of the game long enough that it's hard figuring out where to start and my googling skills haven't been very helpful with finding replacement equipment for alto clarinets specifically.
Thanks everyone.

I have a bundy selmer alto clarinet and I am in need of a neck. I've looked everywhere and still can't find anything.
