i've been looking around for an alto, not necessarily anything fancy or in amazing condition.. just something that can be fixed to play. i found something on ebay that looked like it would be a good piece to get and fix up gradually, but it didn't have a bell.. anyone know if i could just get one from a music store, or how much it might cost me?
thanks

If it's still in production or a major brand than one can be ordered - but be prepared to pat big bucks for one. The chances of a repairperson having an extra laying about are slim to none. One can always be manufactured, too, but be prepared to pay bigger bucks ...

Hi jenna. Email me direct. I have a playable alto that I am thinking of getting rid of (to pay for the digital camera I just bought).

Bob et al. - please contact the person directly rather than post here if it's to sell something. That's 'da rules.

Sorry Mark, et al, I thought if you poked "reply to this question" in the lower right hand corner of the one original message (not the main thread dialogue box) it only went to that one person. Now I know better.
