Greetings All,
I wanted to share with you a video of my performance of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto back in August that just became available. This was my first time playing it on basset clarinet, a truly enlightening and enjoyable experience... The encore that follows is my own arrangement of "Sarabande" from Bach First Cello Suite.
Please let me know if you have any questions, etc. Enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful playing! You have brought out so many subtleties in the Mozart and even more obviously in the Bach.
I think that yours is by far the only OTHER rendition of the basset clarinet version of the concerto that I have truly enjoyed since Anthony Pay's performance on his custom made basset back in the 70s. I don't mean to disparage everyone else but I can't help but get a sense that the other versions I've heard were more "gee listen to these extra low notes" rather than a cohesive entity. Your timbre remains consistent throughout your horn from top to bottom........ a very hard task to pull off!
I also enjoyed the conductors ability to bring out the timbres of the cellos and bassoons in a way that shows how Mozart conceived of this piece as a unified whole with the basset clarinet.......again, unlike most other basset renditions of this piece.
Thank you for sharing your music with all of us.

Dear tiagocunha and Dileep,
Thank you again so much for your kind words. I used to visit this site very often years ago, and it's good to see there are many great discussions that go on here. I am not sure if I have anything worthy to say here, but I would love to contribute anything I could. I keep up more often with Facebook so maybe I will see you there.
Best,
Won

Professor Kim is being very modest! I'm sure he has plenty to contribute, judging both from this performance and his bio:
