After I have been playing for a about 30 - 45 minutes no sound is produced when I use the the A key on my B flat Buffet R13. Just wondered if this could easily be fixed or adjusted without taking it to the repair man.

I take it you are talking of the throat A key.
Have you checked to see if the tonehole is waterlogged?
Is the pad loose in the key cup and intermittently sticking to the tonehole?

With the key "open" just blow some air (a quick psfffft!) into the hole to get out any condensation that may build up.
If you've had the clarinet a good long time, chances are that some dirt has built up in there and that is making the whole thing worse. Just remove the "G#" key, then the "A" key and clean out with a Q-tip.

It is also possible that there is a tear in the pad membrane, and it plays fine for awhile, then when it gets wet the pad expands due to water getting in. In this case, you'll want to have both pads replaced (G# & A).
Cork pads on all of the top joint keys (except for the lower ring pad - 1&1 fingering), are always a wise investment.
