Great to see an American orchestra playing American music on tour and featuring members of their orchestra as soloists.

I heard Slatkin do the American in Paris with the CSO last year and he does a great job with that score. Brings out much of the Imperssionism of Ravel and Debussy along with the Gershwin rhythms and counterpoint.
