Does anyone use Buffet Elite. I was surprised to find in Muncy catalogue they use for Elite resonance plate for each pad. Obviously they applied this technology from that of Saxophone:As Saxophone's pad is very large they use pad with a metal plate at center.
I would like the user to post what the impression of this resonance plate.
TIA

Hiroshi--
Sorry, I don't know much about the Elite... but it looks longer than the standard Bb... perhaps smaller bore? I would be curious to hear what kind of tone it has too!

the slightly longer length is perhaps due to the extra vent hole.
the elite has a extra right thumb key which sharpens the bottom E/F.

This must be a new developement. I've played a few Elites before and i don't recall them having thumb keys.

hi Daniel,
those elite that I come across all comes with the right thumb key. in fact I have not seen elite without that feature. don't think its some new development as I have seen the same design 2-3 years ago.
