 Tablets (iPad, etc.) for private teaching

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering what tablets folks use in their private teaching. I am leaning towards an iPad, but am hesitating because of the lack of both SD card inputs and thumb drive/USB inputs.

Also, what apps are out there both for Android and iOS that private instructors are finding useful?? They could be business oriented (scheduling, billing, etc.) or content oriented (teaching games, sheet music, etc.).
