 Help figuring out what this clarinet is.

I have a clarinet that was donated to my school and curiosity has got the best of me. It has no brand marking but has a serial #55616. The only other marking on it is on the bell where it is stamped with Benny Goodman. If you can help me identify it I would appreciate it.

Wood or plastic?
