Has there been any change or update to the D'Addario mouthpieces or is it the same mouthpiece with a new name on it? I believe there have been some subtle changes in the reeds, but I have not heard anything about the mouthpieces.

It's the same MPC.
D'Addario gave up on trying to clean up Rico reputation. Rico will be reserved for student line and they transition their better products to D'Addario.
D'Addario Reserve reeds are slightly different, run search there were post on this.
Grand Concerts will stay as Rico for now, but they are known as "Grand Concerts" not "RICO Grand Concerts" so if they change to D'Addario they will be still "GRAND CONCERTS"

I don't believe so. I play on a Rico reserve and never noticed any chances when they stuck the D'addario on em. It's just a rebranding. Regardless, they're nice

I demo's a Rico and had to purchase a d'addario. I couldn't recognize any obvious difference.
