Hello everyone,
I am looking for a very high quality, pretty much indestructible bass clarinet case (Wiseman or Wiseman-grade) that would accommodate both my low C bass and any bass clarinet stand that is accessible in the market today. Would one of those Wiseman Bass Clarinet cases (model A, B, C, soprano sax + BC, etc) work?
The K&M bass cl/ bassoon stand's dimensions when folded are pretty close to those of the soprano clarinet, but again, I can't tell this for sure without measuring and fitting. I know that someone here has been mentioning using such a combo with a modified drum tripod or something, but that wouldn't work for me, I don't know where to shop for such tripods and where to get them modified.
I am well aware of those possibilities to have your case custom made according to your specifications by whatever reputable manufacturer out of best materials available, but the CUSTOMness of such case, I am afraid, will significantly reduce the resale value, should I want to sell that (quite pricey) case.
Thank you in advance.
