Hello Bboard, I'm looking for a duet for two clarinets with or without piano accompaniment for a chamber music concert. Both clarinetists are semi pro level. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you

Mozart duets are nice. Several editions are available. If you do them ask for the publication that has two separate parts instead of both on the same score if you wish to have it printed that way. The Mendelsohns are nice too but you have to ask for the version for two clarinets, not the clarinet and bassoon or clarinet and basset horn. The Ponchelli is very difficult but fun, must be advanced players.

Poulenc Duo (Bb and A clarinet) -- fairly difficult and must be tossed off with elegance and humor.
3 Operatic Duets, Lazarus Method, Part 3 -- not difficult; excellent music requiring singing, operatic style. 1st and 2nd parts equal in difficulty and musical content.

^Poulenc duo is great. It's the first piece I ever tried doing a multi-track recording on.
