hey everyone. I've been wondering if people have ever tried or bought a phillip muncy clarinet barrel (the muncy winds catalog). I've been wanting a rosewood one for myself.

ClarinetFest & other gatherings where sufficient attendee & visitor traffic exists to attract the best vendors & their wares to the exhibit areas .... are a great time to sit down with tuner & your clarinet ... to find *your* optimum barrel.

Phil Muncy brings great products to us, among them are his barrels made out of fine woods.

Most of all I have enjoyed the Scitt poly Barrels that I have bought from Muncy Winds. Some of the best clarinetists in the world play the Scott Barrel. Any who have hail from Michigan (especially the Landsing area) or have affiliated with Interlochen know of this icon of a man. (many love his repair work and his mouthpieces as well).
