whay are buffet crampon's E11 series clarinets stamped as 'made in france ' when they are made in germany?

I haven't seen any that are stamped as France. All of my students that have them say germany on the back by the serial number.

I believe that in the Buffet Logo, it mentions Paris or A Paris. That's just the Buffet logo. It doesn't mean that it was made here in US, Germany or Paris.
Are you sure it's an E-11 and not an E-13? I believe that E-13 are made in France.

My Buffet E-11 C clarinet makes no claims about the country of manufacture. Only has the serial # and Buffet logo on the front.

My E11 has "Made in Germany" engraved in the back and stamped logos on the front.

If you compare the E-11 and R-13 the E-11 will have the insignia stating Buffet Crampon Cie A Paris while the R-13 will have that plus Made in France underneath that.

The keys for all models are made at Mantes, west of Paris. As I understand it, most of the student models are assembled in Germany, but some are manufactured in France as well.
