I just bought a used Noblet bass clarinet. I will have it overhauled, and I would like to replace the neck. It has no problems, but it was made in one piece and it's not so good to pull out from the neck when I need to adjust the tuning. So I need a neck which has an adjustable part. I saw some Chinese made adjustable neck, but I don't know what to think about them. Any suggestions?

On my old Lefebre bass clarinet, probably similar to your Noblet, the neck is one piece. In order to get some higher tuning choice, I bought one of the tuneable Chinese necks at a low price. It works fine, but the upper end of its tuning is the same as the original neck, so I don't use it. Good luck!

Thank you! Do you have any experience with other possible aftermarket bass clarinet necks?

I'm afraid because the seller of those bass necks doesn't provide any information about the tenon diameter, length of the neck and bore size. Would you think they would work on a Noblet?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, but I do need a two part bass clarinet neck, because if you pull out from the mouthpiece, it becomes unstable, just like the neck itself when pulled out from the upper joint.
And sometimes the bass clarinet has to be tuned. Yes, I know this affects the whole instrument. I am aware of intonation, I have experience regarding bass clarinet playing from small to larger ensables and in symphony orchestra as well.
And temperature changes tuning because of the changing bore dimension, not the 'speed of sound in the air'.

a neck which has an adjustable part?
A Noblet bass clarinet should be single register key. But a "two pieces" bass clarinet neck is for clarinet with double register key. Isn't it?
I have a vito bass clarinet and I tune with the original neck. No problem happened.

A different neck could be far more out of tune than the one you're using. It may not be the same bore or length and could create more problems than it solves. If you know a real good tech ask them if they have a solution to make yours two pieces if possible by cutting it and putting a little slip inside it to extend it. I'm not sure that's even possible though. Other than that you better try before you buy. All necks are not created equal. You could always look for a better bass clarinet.
