Played it many times along with most of Suppe's othe "War Horses". I agree , Paul, and any one of the live person orchestral versions on YT are better.

A picture of the four players and performances are on another site nearby. Supposedly the same group, this time playing the Florentine March by Fucik. Am I being fooled?

on youtube Harmonie 1907 has over 32 listings, with photos, of 4 clarinetists playing overtures, marches, etc. Are my eyes and ears deceiving me? Maybe.
