I found a Buffet clarinet that does not have a model number. It has a serial number in the 566000 range. Any ideas of age/model?
Thanks,
Cherie

Is it made of wood?
Does it have cut outs in wood under RH pinky keys?
Does it say "made in France"
If yes it would be an R13 made in past 5-6 years or so
If no then it's probably a B10 or B12 made in Germany by Schreiber with the logo worn off.

I bought a buffet clarinet last weekend at a yard sale. I just to know what model and what it's worth. Please see attached photos. Serial number is 79447 and I think it's a 1964 made in France. Thanks...

It's most likely an R13 from the early part of 1964.
