It's a barrel that guy chadish has reemed. Basically, Buffet gives some barrels to chadish and he reems them. They have a taper almost like the Moenig (or however you spell it), but his taper is a little subtle than the Moenig. I can't remember the exact words Guy used when I was in new york, but it is along the same lines from what i remember. I don't know if they work well with other brands of clarinets or not.

REAMED - Bore dimensions changed on a lathe with a 'reamer' of a particular taper. While the inestimable GC may claim that they're uniform, it is best to play them first.

I use the 64mm length to keep my Master model more in tune.

I recommend buying several at a time, if the tuning needs change.

I use a 64mm Chadash with my LeBlanc Concerto A and I agree with Anji, it is best to try as many you can because they do not all play the same. Good clarineting!!!!!!

The Chadash is a variation of the Moennig, which was designed to help tuning because of the cone shape of the bore in the lower joint. I have tried Chadash barrels, but I play a Moennig 65mm (in orchestra) or 66 mm (in band). If you are considering buying one (you should probably do this from a catalogue), be sure to order three or four to try them out, as none of them are exactly the same.
