I just came across a clarinet manufacturer that I hadn't heard of, a Spanish company called Marvent. Has anybody else got any experience/knowledge of Marvent clarinets? There's no price info on their website..they also have a youtube channel where you can hear them being played.
They look quite pretty...chunky and quite Backun-like. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has played one, or even owns one.

Curious: they only make Bb sopranos, and then only two models. Then they sell barrels and bells.

yes, they seem to be a new company but couldn't see any history section on their website. I can't remember how I came across them, it may have been a sponsored link on facebook. Maybe I'll go on holiday to Spain and try one..
Their "luxury" model has an extra downward pointing piece on the LH little finger C#/G# key - I've never seen one of those before, does anyone know of any other models of clarinet that have this?

That key is common on German system clarinets and tarogatok. Stephen Fox makes one that you can fit to an existing clarinet. About halfway down this page:
