Hello! I've been asked to perform as a featured soloist with a local youth symphony, and I've chosen to perform the Jeanjean arrangement of the Carnival of Venice. I've been in contact with Ray Luedeke about renting the parts, but he unfortunately does not have any recordings.
Do any of you know about this arrangement by Ray Luedeke or how difficult the orchestral parts are? The ages of the students in this ensemble range from 7th grade to high school senior... so, I would like to find a piece with an accompaniment that isn't too technically demanding. I know the piano accompaniment to the Carnival of Venice is tricky in places, so I'm just a little worried about how the orchestral arrangement is going to work.
