 Beechler mouthpiece
Author: AAAClarinet

I just discovered than I have a Beechler 5s clarinet mouthpiece. It obviously has a wide tip and needs soft reeds. The Beechler website only lists sax mouthpieces. can anyone give me some info on this mouthpiece. Thanks.

According to this Runyon tip opening chart, the Beechler 5s has a 0.046" tip opening. The "s" means a "short" lay which, IMO, could be either a Brand 30, 15mm, or a Brand 32, 16mm. (Brand 34, 17mm, is usually considered a medium lay.)
