I had a 10G when Henri-Selmer de(of) Paris started to sell them after 10S, provably near 1974.
Its G means Anthony Gigliotti - ex-principal of Philladelphia. A rare American classic pro who selected Selmers,I guess. Its bore size is 0.574",which is equal to standard Buffet bore sizes.
If bought new,it comes with Gigliotti mouthpiece.
You can read these on Selmers page except the G naming legend. http://www.selmer.com/htdox/clar4.htm
I thought it very easy to play and add expression.Throat tones seem easy to emit. Tone tendency seemed clear and brighter than Buffets. If you would prefer darker tones it may be changed using Buffet's Moennig barrel since bore size is the same. But it will need trial.Every Vandoren (it seems they make to fit standard Buffet bore size) mouthpiece seem to fit them depending on what tone you like.
p.s. I may be mistaking the spelling of Gigliotti.

Not always. My 10G came with a Selmer C85/115.
BTW - your spelling of Gigliotti is just fine. The pronunciation is a "J" sound ("Jigliotti"), in case you were wondering. At least that's how Dave Blumberg pronounces it - right Dave?

Hiroshi-
I purchased mine in the mid-1980s. It came with a Selmer HS* mouthpiece.
