Another excellent way of going from throat A to B over the break is when you play the B, nudge open the throat A key with your left index finger (which will still give you the B) and then for A, lift your right hand index finger and then close it again for the B, so you're effectively using a trill fingering but without using the trill key as mentioned above (which is also a very useful fingering).

So the fingering for B is: Sp. Th. A xxx|xxx E/B
and throat A fingering is: Sp. Th. A xxx|oxx E/B
