So i'm thinking about buying a new case for my 2 piece yamaha bass clarinet. I can't find any backpack cases for 2 piece bass clarinets. Does anything know where i can get one?
There's a PROPAC one but it's for a 1 piece, will it affect my horn if i leave the two parts connected in the case?

Is it a low Eb or a low C bass clarinet? I'm guessing it's low Eb but not sure. I think you have a few options for each.
Wiseman has a low C case but can make a low Eb case if asked (AFAIK).
Both Buffet and Selmer have backpack cases (with shoulder straps). Over the years they had cases made by Winter, BAM and probably other companies too. You can check all those companies.
There's the Altieri bag/case, though it looks a little thin and not so protective to me.
I'm sure there are other companies or people making bags and cases. In my tiny country there are a few so I'm sure there are in your huge country too. Locally we have a few people who will make custom cases or bags for anything you want.
If your suitcase type case is not too big then a simple option might be to have someone make a backpack cover for your case to fit into.

Most likely not, but it could. IMO one of my main advantages of having a two piece bass clarinet is the smaller case, so I would definitely not to do that.

I don't see any reason having the bass in one piece in the case as long as you use cork grease on the cork so it doesn't get stuck. Assuming it's a sturdy case.
