For those of you out there who favor the jazz medium, check out Ante Grgin's Concertino (for Clarinet and Orchestra). He's a clarinet faculty member at the Serbian Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He was born in Kaštel Novi, Yugoslavia (now Croatia) and went to school in Split before relocating to Belgrade to continue his musical career. I read he considers himself Serbian rather than Croatian.
There's a recording out there, at least on Spotify, of Grgin playing the Concertino and it is fantastic! Awesome piece, awesome playing. 10 minutes of real fun. Take a listen!
He also wrote a Concerto - I'd be interested in finding a recording although I haven't been able to dig one up yet.

There are performances of several of his clarinet works on YouTube, some with him performing.
Best regards,
