Ok, I don't want to seem like I'm trying to "one up" this video but...

I was searching recently for a good rendition for a student to watch and though Eric plays this well (for his age?) I am much more fond of this recording by Annelien Van Wauwe.

Are they done by the same videographer??!!!??

He's a bit flat in the clarion register. Looks like he has a great future though.

Great video Paul...no one's upmanship here. Ms. Van Wauwe is brilliant.

She neither takes away from Mr. Abramovitz's accomplishments, nor vice versa; she just adds excitement to the pool of young players.

Can anyone identify what appears to be her Boehm system clarinet that otherwise has a key pad on the bell?

After looking at pictures on her website, it looks like Ms Van Wauwe plays Buffet Vintage clarinets that have had a low E/F correction key added. She seems to also be using a Paulus & Schuler adjustable barrel and a VD B40 Lyre mouthpiece.

Her performance of the Debussy is beautiful.

Can someone explain the barrel on her clarinet? It looks adjustable.

Oops! Sorry! I just re-read the post above which names the barrel.
