 Shortest reed contest
Author: fskelley

OK, I've tossed a few reeds that I'd clipped one time (or 5 times) too many. So, who here has the shortest reed in their regular rotation? Bonus points if it's one of your performance favorites. Photo next to a ruler?

Did all the clipping actually improve it over time?

In all seriousness- how do you decide too much is too much?
Do some brands/series REQUIRE or TOLERATE more clipping for you?
I know that reeds do not all start with the same length.
