I recently turned in my wooden rental clarinet for a Buffet E12, and I love it, but I have some issue with the case, meaning I won't be able to use it for school. Unfortunately, my rental case went with my clarinet so at the moment, I have the new case (unusable), an A clarinet case, and a cheaper one for my plastic clarinet for marching band. My Bb fits in the A case unexpectedly well, but my A clarinet has nowhere to go if I put it in there. Right now, my only choice really, is to use the cheap case until I get a new one, but are there any severe consequences of doing that? Like, will problems come up with my clarinet if I carry it around in a low quality case for some time? As far as I'm concerned, none of the parts move/shake around, it fits pretty well. Even so, will there be issues? Like, with ventilation or humidity?

Nope. No problems. It may be a snug fit, but if it's too snug, the case is probably just foam and some pressure and hitting the case's divots with a blunt object can make the cavity a little bigger or wider if you need to.
For what it's worth, I don't know what's wrong with the new case that you can't bring it to school, but it'll probably fit in a laptop bag. And the laptop bag should hold whatever you need if it's an accessory storage issue.

Retired, playing more sax than clarinet, but still playing clarinet and still loving it!
