 Forestone reed strength

Hi

On Forestone's website the reeds are marked in numbers for strength when ordering, but their chart has the reeds marked by letters (such as S, M, etc.).

Does anyone know of a better chart to compare their strength? Is Forestone changing their strength marking or is it just an older chart...?

The M<MS< MH etc are on their new Black Bamboo ; not sure about their traditional reeds

According to the WWBW option menu below, they are numbered from 1 to 5 in 1/2 steps. Please read the reviews because they appear to match what has been said on this BB concerning how "soft" they are.

According to the chart on their webiste, all their reeds (not just the black ones)are marked by letters

not sure the comparison chart is right. Grand Concerts listed 1/4 step softer then VD blue box, and in reality (and per Rico) they are 1/4 step stiffer then Traditionals. Hopefully they did get the VDs right, YMMV
