I finally found me a clarinet that I can afford and something better than what I have. Its a very nice looking Buffet E-11.. still has 3 year warranty. I now play a Selmer Signet Special and its pretty old.. Is 400 a good price for it??

Hi,
I have been playing the Buffet E-11 Clarinet for 3 years now and it is wonderful. It is a GREAT choice. $400 is a GREAT price!!!!!!!! where are you getting it? I am looking for a Buffet R-13 right now. I hope you will love the E-11 like I do. It is awesome.

I am buying it from an ind. who played it, I think. I will be happy, anything is better than my Selmer Special.. although it does play nice and has a good tone, but I am looking for a newer clarinet.

The E11 is a great horn the feel of the keys may even be better than some R13s that I've tried. hope you'll like it too.

I have one running right now on eBay. The current bid is $320.00. If you want to check it out do a search for "clarinetgrammy."

The E-11 is not a step up from the Signet Special...rather a side-step. Both are considered good solid intermediate instruments. As to which one plays better, would be a matter of preference.
