I played clarinet for 50 years until I had left hand problems from an operation.
I'm seeking a Vito clarinet with all the keys covered. A full plateau I believe. I hope to find a used one at a reasonable price. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, Krommer:
An alternative to the plateau-keyed Vito 7214P exists in the Normandy 14P and 140P. The Normandy 140P is almost identical to the Vito you're looking for, differing from the older Model 14P in that it has jump trill keys and headless pivot screws. I was able to find a playable Normandy 14P on an online auction site for just $78.

Also keep a look out for used Noblet Artist and Leblanc LL plateaux clarinets, the Leblanc being a pro model.
