hi i am new to the board and i need some help determining the model type of my buffet clarinet. the serial number is 118767. there is a cut out under the lower piece right hand key clusters. the buffet logo is engraved and filled in with gold (which is fading) and under the logo in small letters is 'MADE IN FRANCE'.
the clarinet was given to me by a professional player many years ago. any ideas how i can find out what model it is?
thank you!

If there is no model designation marked on the top joint then it will be an R13 (all later models e.g. RC Festival Prestige etc etc are named).

Yep. R13. It dates back to about 1969-1970 or so.
