 francaix concerto tempos

Can anyone help me with the correct tempo markings for the mvts. I have heard that francaix's tempos ( marked on score ) are incorrect .

According to Charlie Neidich, who played the piece for Francaix, the tempo markings are correct.

However, if you don't have Charlie's technique, you will probably want to take slower tempos.

NO KIDDING MARIO! Didn't Francaix know about the A Clarinet? I think the key of C would make this ungodly difficult piece just a tad bit easier ;-)
