I have been given a Noblet Artist Bb clarinet by a relative which I am trying to date and find out roughly what the value would be. It is a wood clarinet including the bell and has the "dimond" logo on it. The serial number is 71842.
No cracks and the key work is in good condition for it's age, plays well however a number of pads probably would require replacing in the near future.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Usually, a polite "Will you go out with me?" is sufficient.

BuDaBoom!
Thanks for the reason to smile on an otherwise busy Tuesday morning, GBK
Steve Sklar has spent a huge amount of time collating information like this, and has had the generosity to create a web site for us all to use!
Copy and paste the URL below to get to the relevant place on his site, which suggests your Noblet was made in 1968

(I don't think I can make the URL an active link due to the presence of the # in the address)
