Unfortunately your instrument really isn't all that valuable.

Check eBay for comprable instruments.

A couple of places online that often have various older instruments where you might find some info

Prices for Albert system Buffets really vary. I got mine (made in 1888; coincidentally, judging from the serial number, yours appears to have been made in the very same year!) from Goodwill's auction site (fortunately this GW store was within driving distance so I could try it out first) for very little money, while on another auction site I've seen people ask two to ten times as much for essentially identical instruments. Sometimes they find sellers, sometimes they don't...

First off: what is the exact length of your clarinet fully assembled? If it's 26.5" with mouthpiece, then it's a Bb clarinet at Low Pitch, i.e. modern standard pitch, which will make it hugely more salesworthy. An inch shorter than that is a Bb clarinet at High Pitch, which is only of interest to collectors, and very limited interest at that. If the length is different from either of those, post it here and we can tell you what its pitch is.

You could try offering it at the Greek, Turkish & Klezmer Clarinet forum:

They regularly list used Albert system clarinets for sale, and there'd be real interest here. Buffet Alberts are highly regarded for these musics. Members are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, so you'll at least get good advice, and perhaps a customer as well!

I've sold several restored Bb L.P. Albert clarinets to jazz players, they seem to like them. Prices here in Oz around 250-400, but prices might be different in U.S. The ones that immediately come to mine were a Selmer, a Buffet and a Boosey & Co.. all in excellent order when I sold them.
