I have recently had the opportunity to watch Lewis rehearse an orchestra and I am totally impressed with his command of expressive conducting technique and attention to musical detail. And his relaxed but firm ability to motivate the orchestra to excel without the typical Toscanni pyro antics. Has anyone else had the opportunity to play under maestro Delvit and, if so, what do you think? FWIW, he was originally a clarinetist before assuming the podium.
