So it turns out that all we need to do to get any group to play together is to put them on a platform that moves in response to their playing.

Yup. It's Newton's First Law of Motion. Get everybody going at the same speed in the same direction and they'll tend to stay that way, if there's enough feedback to let them feel what's happening.

So what happens if the orchestra sits on a synchronicity rig but we put the conductor on one of those barroom bucking bronc machines?
