I just listened. A very tasty performance, beautiful but without the wild gipsy abandon I think it needs. I haven't heard enough Steve Williamson performances to distinguish him from Mark Nuccio. However, this is from June, and he joined the Philharmonic only in July http://nyphil.org/about-us/ArtistDetail?artistname=stephen-williamson, so it's probably Nuccio. If so, the coolness, particularly after Drucker's passion, is probably the reason he wasn't made the principal.
One of Stanley Drucker's master class videos on YouTube is on the solo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtoNKH60W9M. He never plays in master classes, but from his televised concerts, I think he would have put more passion into it, and in the master class he clearly calls for it.

By the way - did you find the Drucker masterclass convincing? He creates an atmosphere of intimidation for the student, although many of his advices are very subjective and questionable. The student does not dare to object even when Drucker is obviously and evidently wrong. For example, in bar 4 of the Andante maestoso he insists "PORTATO!!!!!" - no, Kodály did not write portato - there is marked a portato-dash AND a staccato dot, so the student played this passage correctly with space between the notes- and so on....

I found Drucker totally convincing. The student was a good player, worthy of playing for SD, but she was totally inside herself, playing the notes like a mindless etude.
Drucker jumped on her, as he was expected to do by the unwritten but well-understood "Master Class Rules." That is, he pushed her hard do more, to play the passion as well as the notes, putting the music across the footlights and into the laps and ears of the audience.
You don't play in a master class to get compliments. You play to get surprised and stretched. If that student has soloistic as well as technical talent, she'll be playing a lot better a year after that class, as she opens up to what Drucker showed her.
If you think Drucker was tough, you should go to a master class by David Krakauer, who runs off the stage to the back of the hall and yells I CAN'T HEAR YOU. PLAY IT TO ME OUT HERE.
