 NYWO of Great Britain

Hi,
Can anyone give me some information about the NYWO of Great Britain's standards and general regard as my teacher has told me that I should be applying for it (he spent 3 years doing it himself).
I am yet to do grade 8 but I play to a grade 8 standard (comfortably) and I'm nearer the lower end of the age range so does anyone know how I'm likely to fare?

Thanks,

I was in NYWO back in 1999. It was a great time. I would suggest you contact Kit Shepard and ask. She may well let you audition if you haven't taken grade 8 yet and judge you on that. I say go for it, they do some wonderful and hard repertoire.
