I recently purchased this tarogato on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/261256713377?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
I know that purchasing a tarogato from some guy who is terrible at translating into english is a very bad idea, but i decided to take a risk. Right now I am trying to identify this tarogato but have not had much luck. Is this a cheap romanian Timis? If so can it be made playable? Also is $400 + $100 shipping a good price?
Thank You!

I've heard that the biggest issue is intonation, can this be improved by filling sharper holes partially with epoxy? What about tuning crescents? This is all new to me so any info would be appreciated.
Thank you very much!

There appears to be a trademark stamped on the front of the bell. Scrub it with a damp toothbrush to get the crud out and try to figure out what it says.

Sorry I just ordered the instrument yesterday. I didn't even see the trademark on the front. I will contact the seller and see if he knows. Thanks for pointing that out.
