Next August, we'll have a concert with wind octet in the castle of Burgpreppach/
Bavaria. Philipp Meissner, a famous clarinet-player and teacher (see: Weston, More clarinet virtuosi of the past) was born in that castle in 1748. Due to Weston, Meissner has written wind octets in two books, originally published by Breitkopf and Haertel. It would be great, to play these octets in that location. Does anyone know, where they (or perhaps different works of Meissner for later concerts in Burgpreppach) are available?
