Hello!
So, I got some barrels from Muncy to try out with my clarinet, and my CL4 mouthpiece. One of the barrels I got was a Chadash, aaand it doesn't fit on my clarinet! the part below the cork on the top joint is just a little too wide and the barrel doesn't fit over it. Should I ask them to send me another Chadash barrel or will it be the same? Not sure if this is a problem with my clarinet or the barrel. (All the other barrels I have hanging around here, and the other two that I have on trial from Muncy, fit) Has that happened with anyone else before?

I expect that Muncy has a repair shop and can refit the barrel. The sockets often need to be reamed.

That's not the first time a barrel was not cut properly. Send it back and tell them the problem. You should not have to pay for the shipping so ask them about that. Also, I suggest you try as many different brands as possible to find the one that plays best on your clarinet.
