I have no idea how much the horn is worth to a collector. There are too many variables to consider for anyone to hedge a guess on it sight unseen.
However, my own opinion is that the horn in the hands of a player of Mr. Goodman's caliber would probably reproduce the magic of world class jazz again. In the hands of a rank novice, it would probably squeak and squawk like a tortured duck. You see, it's not the horn itself that makes the music, rather it's the person playing the horn that does it.

Probably not worth a whole lot more than the horn itself considering that a signed photo of Goodman went for about 60 bucks on eBay not too long ago. Still the ultimate answer is that it is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, so maybe it's worth a whole lot to somebody with lots of money.
