The search function isn't working well, and newer postings don't seem to get indexed. Someone raised this issue recently, but the search function doesn't find the string, and it's important enough that I want to bring it up again.
I use the search function constantly. Maybe half of my postings draw on what I've already written. I now use the Goggle site search function, but that takes a lot more time and effort. It's made more complicated because lots of clarinet material is now in the oboe forum.
Mark, I recall your writing that you don't have the time or the resources to work on it. I understand, but I suggest that it's time for a fund-raising effort devoted to hiring a database expert to do the work. As with prior fund-raising efforts, I will contribute early and generously.
