I believe Mitchell Lurie died in '08. Therefore, I doubt he designed this clarinet.

Even though the socket rings look like those used on the Ridenour clarinets, the keywork isn't the same. That doesn't mean that both instruments aren't made in the same factory.

The intonation issues alone are reason enough to stay far away from this clarinet.
