mystery clarinet

I have a clarinet that has a logo of a stylized M overlaying what looks like
an A . Right under this logo is the following words: SIL-VA-LAE and under
that it says: TRADE MARK. This is an extremely well made older instrument.
Made of wood. Nickel silver key wrks. The tenon between the lower and upper
joints has a clever well tooled metal socket that includes the ring. The serial
number is 4402. I have not been able to find anything about this instrument. I know that there are
mouthpieces that have the SIL-VA-LAE name but I can't find a connection
to the clarinet. Does anyone know about this?
