I must admit to my appreciation for Richard Stoltzman's work. Upon watching an interview of him, I realized that he bears a striking physical resemblance to the ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev. They have similar mouths, head shape, eyes, cheek bones, hair styles and voices. What is stranger still is that they are (were) both criticised along the same lines. Both are considered to have taken too many liberties with traditional classical style, too many embelishments, affectations, too many concessions made to appeal to popular taste. People say they are too bravura, too spectacular and while Nureyev was not considered to have taken liberties with precise time, his over the top emotionalism resembles the approach Stoltzman takes with sentimentality.
I just realized that once again I might have misspelled Stotzman (Stoltzman's) name, but I can't remember which way I misspelled it last time on this board.
Still the facial resemblance is remarkable.

Hey Garth,
I sometimes question what is fashionable or tasteful back in time or now because it morphs so quickly. Jack Brymer has always been in my heart and soul because he moves me now and also way back in my memory. Nobody can ever take that away from me ;-) x

My vote for look alike is Sterling Holloway, voice of Winnie the Pooh, known for being a bear of little brain and a voracious appetite for honey.
