 contempary pieces

I have to do a 15 minute recital at Christmas of contempary pieces. Can anyone suggest any that are interesting to play. I can flutter tongue and slap tongue and could probably do harmonics just not tried yet

Thanks in advance

How old can a piece be and still count as "contemporary" for your purposes? (Le Sacre is still considered "modern" by some, despite being 100 years old.)

Montavani's "Bug" is a cool work. It's about a computer bug/virus

Allan Blank. "Diversions" for solo clarinet.

Great piece. "Modern," but accessible.

Does anyone have an audio/video of the Allan Blank Diversions? I can't find it on YouTube and wanted to have a listen to see if I would be able to play it.

Also, there is a piece where the Clarinet plays into a pedal timpani which has coins on it. It sounds like a really interesting piece but I can't find it either. Does anyone know what it is called?

Try 'Gra' by Elliott Carter, great piece.

I have a piece that might be suitable, which I composed a few years ago, Hommage to Hindemith, which has a different title in the file name, sorry about that, I changed the title later. It's contemporary in the fact it's recently composed and uses an unusual scale. (the whole tone scale starting on A concert) The extreme dissonance in one bar is completely intentional.

Many years ago, I picked up a copy of Michael Webster's Five Pieces for Solo Clarinet. It's interesting music, but quite difficult. The second movement has a lot of quarter tones, although Webster provides fingerings.
